Stopping the Violence (STV) Counselling Program - Chetwynd

Provides individual and group counselling for women ages 19 or older (or mature minors) who have experienced childhood abuse, dating violence, sexual assault, and intimate partner violence. Aims to decrease the negative impacts of trauma, raise awareness about the cycle of abuse, and increase self-awareness, self-esteem, and assertiveness. Accepts self-referrals. Office hours are 9 am to 4 pm Monday to Thursday. Funded by Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General (MPSSG).
