Stopping the Violence (STV) Counselling Program - Vancouver

Provides one-to-one and support group counselling for people of marginalized genders, including cisgender and transgender women, and all transgender, nonbinary, Two-Spirit, and gender diverse individuals ages 14 and up who have experienced recent or historical sexual assault, childhood sexual abuse, sexual harassment, criminal harassment (stalking), or any form of sexualized violence. Provides bus tickets and child care subsidy to attend counselling or groups. Support groups are offered throughout the year. Office hours are 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday with some evening groups available, and some evening counselling sessions available on Wednesdays. Funded by Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General (MPSSG).
