Strive Centre Headway New Westminster

Offers community-based recreation and social programs for adults ages 19 to 64 with acquired brain injuries living in Fraser Health area. Offers both drop-in and scheduled programs. The Community Leisure Program (CLP) provides individualized and group activities where members work towards their social, leisure, recreational, educational, vocational, and wellness goals. Staff assist members in utilizing their abilities and strengths to build self-confidence, and develop skills and independence. Individuals must be able to get to and from the centre themselves or with the support of a worker/caregiver. Drop-in hours are from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. CLP hours are 11 am to 3 pm Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays in New Westminster, and from 11 am to 3 pm Tuesdays in Surrey.
