Substance Use Services - Victoria

Provides outpatient services to adults who are experiencing substance use issues. Services may include group counselling, limited individual counselling, intensive educational groups, intensive day treatment groups, assessments for the purpose of treatment planning, and referral to other specialized programs. Services are also available to adults currently affected by a family member's use. Also offers Youth Short Term Assessment and Treatment (Youth STAT) program for youth with substance use issues and their families or caregivers. Intake for all substance use programs is done by phone or in person at Centralized Access and Rapid Engagement Service (CARES) mental health and substance use intake (1119 Pembroke Street, 250-519-3485) between 9 am and 8 pm, seven days a week. Serves Greater Victoria.
