Community volunteers provide compassionate volunteer home support through the Home Hospice Program to those who are experiencing end of life, as well as visits through the Community Visitor Program for people who need support to remain in their homes as long as they are able. Caregiver Support Group is a bi-weekly group for those who provide unpaid care and support to family and friends who are elderly, in poor health, or have a disability or other age-related challenges. Bi-weekly Companions in Grief Group is a support group for those experiencing the grief of the death of family or friends. The Taxi Saver Program offers taxi saver coupons for 50% discounted taxi travel for seniors and those with disabilities; can be purchased from the PHC office with cash from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday to Thursday.
