Supported Recovery Program for Mothers with Infants and Toddlers
Supported addictions recovery programming for women who are pregnant (normal or high-risk pregnancy) and women who have infants or toddlers; women may attend this program with their child until the child turns 24 months. Provides a safe environment where recovery from addiction and attention to personal needs allows for a healthier pregnancy and positive child upbringing. Residents attend in-house and community programs that deal with issues such as anger, self-esteem, budgeting, life skills, and relapse prevention. Weekly counselling is available upon request. Residents are required to complete six months of programming before qualifying for aftercare services. Program works with staff from Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD). Fees are charged and vary based on income. Accepts referral from self or other; clients may be on substitution therapy. Office and intake hours are 8 am to 4 pm Monday to Thursday.
