Program consists of a training period, work experience placements, volunteer positions, and other supports such as resume building and on-site job coaching. Clients must be able to work and commute independently. Referrals are through Community Living BC (CLBC) or Island Health Brain Injury Program via an online application. Transitioning Youth works with young adults age 18 and over who are transitioning out of high school and out of Ministry of Children and Family Development care, and into CLBC; referral is through CLBC intake facilitators.
