Provides an integrated RCMP, City of Surrey Support Worker response to reduce incidents of domestic violence and repeat victimization to victims of all genders and their family members that are at high risk of physical harm. Intensive follow-up services are offered to victims and their children including crisis intervention, safety planning, referrals, criminal and family court information and accompaniment, home security checks, and assisting with victim relocation and offender accountability. Files may be referred by police, Crown Counsel, probation/corrections, Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD), and community agencies.
