Offers subsidized independent living for single self-identified women who are at risk of violence or who have experienced violence in the past; women must have one to three children in their care at least 40% of the time. Residents must be able to live independently with no onsite supports, although some support is avilable from an outreach worker. Families may stay until a child turns 19 years of age. Apartment building consists of 12 two-bedroom units. Wheelchair accessible. Accepts some pets when space is available. Serves Cawston, Hedley, Kaleden, Keremeos, Marron Valley, Naramata, Okanagan Falls, Oliver, Osoyoos, Peachland, Penticton, Princeton, and Summerland. Funded by BC Housing.
