Telmexw Awtexw (Medicine House) Healing Centre

Provides outpatient drug and alcohol addiction services to Indigenous adults dealing with substance use challenges. Services include individual and group counselling, healing circles, 12-step recovery groups, land based healing, cultural programs, and harm reduction education and supports. Provides transportation to and from select programming at the centre and in the community; must be pre-arranged. Individuals should be clean and sober while attending programming. Call ahead for directions. Harm reduction supplies vending machine on site. Hours are 8 am to 4 pm. Funded by the First Nations Health Authority (FNHA) as a National Native Alcohol and Abuse Program (NNADAP).
