Supports are individualized and life skills focused, and also include vocational assistance and counselling/life coaching. Access is through an Island Health Community Access Centre. Community Support services assist with household management, medical appointments, phone calls and meetings coordination, organization and scheduling, forms completion assistance, and system navigation. Access for all programs is through the Island Health Community Access Centre. Employment readiness and meaningful engagement services are offered to all survivors accessing programs, including the Bluesheet Club, a weekly support group to improve connection and quality of life, and The Second Chance Cafe, a social enterprise staffed entirely by survivors of brain injury.
