Therapeutic Activation Program for Seniors (TAPS) - Creston Valley

Provides activities, support, and recreational and social opportunities for seniors ages 65 and up in the Creston Valley. Offers physical activity programs, daily phone calls to seniors who may be socially isolated, educational and learning opportunities, assisted transportation for errands and shopping, and medical clinics that include education on foot care and wellness assessments. The Day Break Program provides low-cost meals for seniors; frozen meals are available for a fee. Seniors' Outreach Program offers information about resources for seniors, telephone peer support, elder abuse awareness workshops, and speakers and presentations by health care professionals. Offered in partnership with United Way BC (UWBC) Healthy Aging Program and funded by the Government of BC.
