Thyme Second Stage Program
A second stage transition house for self-identified women who are fleeing abuse and have at least two children in sole or joint care residing with them full- or part-time. The program provides safe subsidized housing, referrals, advocacy, and support in a confidential location, for 12 to 18 months while they rebuild their lives and make community connections. Support includes the provision of crisis and emotional support, safety planning, and education regarding the dynamics and impacts of violence and how to heal from these impacts. Not wheelchair accessible. Funded by BC Housing.
