Tri-Cities East Neighbourhood Centre

Offers intensive in-home parent support and education programs to families and children from birth to age 15 who are experiencing difficulties. Outreach services in the home or community assist with developing skills, setting personal and family goals, and locating community resources and supports. Access Support offers supervised visits between parents and children, and transport to and from the visit if needed. Healthy Babies provides prenatal education, support, and food for young women living in poverty. Child and Youth with Special Needs provides support to youth ages 13 to 19 in the areas of life skills, behavioural planning and social skills. Early Years Parent Navigatorsprovide support for parents of children from birth to age six through workshops, information, and family resources. Free community workshops include Mother Goose, You Make the Difference, Strong Kids, Food Skills for Families,and Kids Have Stress Too. Hours are 9 am to 4:30 pm.
