Provides one-time interest free loans to individuals in danger of eviction, homelessness, or essential utility cut-off due to temporary financial crisis. Interest-free loans may be used for rent payment, hydro/natural gas payment, or security deposits. The maximum repayment period is 24 months, and payments are made through automatic withdrawal. Applicants must be at least 19 years of age, owe less than $3,500 in rent or utilities, be a resident of the Tri-cities (Anmore, Belcarra, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, or Port Moody), be part of a low-to-modest income houshold, and provide proof of income and tenancy. Office hours are 8:30 am to 6 pm Monday to Thursday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm Fridays.
