Turning Point Outreach Community Counselling Program (TPOCC)

Provides free short-term counselling on an outreach basis for individuals with addiction and mental health issues who are at risk of an opiate overdose. Residents must live on the North Shore (North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Bowen Island, or Lions Bay), Richmond, or Vancouver; sessions take place in the community near the person's workplace or home. Number of counselling sessions is determined based on needs. Also assists individuals to connect with substance use and mental health services. Accepts referrals from Vancouver Coastal Health mental health and substance use professionals; self-referrals also accepted. Referral form available online.
