A 10-bed co-ed treatment and recovery residence for adults of all genders with substance use issues. Provides supported recovery services that are client-centred and evidence-based, including expressive arts therapy, acupuncture, yoga, aromatherapy, recreation therapy, and nutritional planning. Offers a 90-day program with possibility for extension; residents may be permitted to work for the last two or three weeks of their stay to assist the transition back to work and into the community. Clients should be 48 to 72 hours sober prior to admission, be medically stable and not at risk of experiencing acute withdrawal symptoms at intake; medical detox may be recommended. Accepts clients on opioid replacement therapy. Accepts referrals from hospitals, physicians, detox, and outpatient services; priority placement is for residents of Squamish, Whistler, and Pemberton and those referred through Vancouver Coastal Health's Mental Health and Addictions program. Fee is $275 per day; also accepts funding through EI and income assistance. Accepts self-referrals from self pay clients. Preferred intake hours are Monday and Tuesday mornings. Administration hours are 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday. Funded as a Stabilization and Transitional Living Residence (STLR) by Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) and licensed by Community Care and Assisted Living.
