Residential addiction recovery program for men ages 19 and over who are interested in community-based recovery from problematic substance use. Services include supportive recovery program activities such as support groups, counselling, and access to goal setting, employment, and educational services. Participatory, group-based approach includes shared responsibility for the daily running of the community. Duration is up to one year, with a minimum four-month commitment required. A minimum of five days of clean time is required for entry, and on-site testing for alcohol and drugs is done regularly. Referral from self or community organizations; applications and consent forms available on website or at the VITC main office, and can be submitted in person (2630 Labieux Road), by fax, or by email. Rate is $575.00 per month, and includes rent, food, and programming. Office and intake hours are 8:30 am to 4 pm Monday to Friday.
