Service Description

Provides clinical care, patient education, and treatment for men in BC with prostate disease; men can self-refer or be referred by their doctor. Also educates health care professionals and leads research programs. The Prostate Cancer Supportive Care (PCSC) Program is a comprehensive survivorship program for men with prostate cancer, their partners, and their family from the time of initial diagnosis onward; a doctor's referral is required. Program offers educational sessions and clinical services in the areas of primary treatment options; sexual health; nutrition; exercise; androgen deprivation therapy; pelvic floor physiotherapy for bladder and bowel conerns; counselling services; and metastatic disease management. Centre hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.
