Provides a safe haven for women, with or without children, who are seeking refuge from relationship abuse, recent sexual assault, or other forms of family violence. Accepts male children up to age 16. Offers transportation and accompaniment to appointments, meals and laundry facilities, child support (and where possible child care), referrals to community resources, and recreational opportunities. Staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Administration hours are hours are 8:30 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 4:30 pm Monday to Thursday. Partially wheelchair accessible; call ahead. One room can accommodate pets on a case-by-case basis. Funded by BC Housing.
