Victim Service Program

Provides services related to the criminal justice system to women, trans, two-spirit, and gender diverse people ages 13 and over who have experienced sexual assault or historical sexual abuse. Services include information, support and accompaniment in making police reports, information and orientation on the court process, court accompaniment, case status information, and assistance with Victim Impact Statements and Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP) forms. Also offers third party reporting to adult victims of sexual assault; staff report the assault to police on behalf of the victim who remains anonymous. Collaborates with the Victoria Child Abuse Prevention and Counselling Centre to provide youth victim services. To connect with Victim Services, call the Access and Information Line between 9:30 am to 4:45 pm Monday to Friday. Funding provided by the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General (MPSSG).
