Service Description

A lawyer in private practice funded by LABC provides the following services: takes applications for legal representation and refers eligible clients to lawyers; provides liaison between LABC, the community, and the private bar; directs clients to legal information services and community agencies; and provides access to LABC websites and other online legal resources. Hours at Victoria Law Court Office are 9 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 3:30 pm Monday to Friday. Hours at Western Communities Courthouse (1756 Island Highway) are 8:30 am to 11 am Monday to Thursday. Also does Aboriginal band outreach in Esquimalt Nation, Pacheedaht First Nation, and Tseycum First Nation.
