Victoria Sexual Assault Access Line and Counselling Services

Provides crisis support and group counselling for women and transgender people (whether they identify as a woman, man, genderqueer, or otherwise) as well as youth age 15 and over; collaborates with the Victoria Child Abuse Prevention and Counselling Centre to provide counselling to youth ages 13 to 15. Individual crisis support assists people dealing with the most immediate emotional, physical, and behavioural reactions to sexual assault, as well as provides help for those currently experiencing a crisis in their life as a result of historical sexual abuse. Group counselling services focus on education, skills development, and peer support. Groups are offered in person and virtually. Individual trauma counselling helps people dealing with sexual trauma and its long-term effects. Funded as a Stopping the Violence (STV) Counselling program by Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General (MPSSG).
