VISAC (Vancouver Incest and Sexual Abuse Centre) - Victim Support Program

Offers support and information to children and youth who have been sexually or physically abused, and to their non-offending family members. Also works with children and youth witnesses of crime and provides information and support to adult survivors of child sexual or physical abuse. Services include information and explanation of the court system, court orientation, accompaniment to court and other interviews, case progress information, crisis intervention and ongoing emotional support, assistance in completing Criminal Victim Assistance (CVAP) forms and Victim Impact statements, and referrals to other services. Serves Vancouver. Funded primarily by Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General (MPSSG).
