Assists outreach participants who are low-income seniors to maintain independent living within their homes and remain connected to their communities. Services include social companionship, minor home repairs, light yard work, form application assistance, dog walking, basic computer tutoring, and assisted drives to medical appointments and errands. Serves James Bay, Victoria West, Burnside, Hillside/Quadra, Oaklands, Fernwood, North Park, Rock Bay, North Jubilee, South Jubilee, Harris Green, Rockland, Fairfield/Gonzales, and Downtown. Referral required from in-house outreach workers.
