WorkBC Assistive Technology Services Centre - Kelowna

Provides assistive technology or supports to individuals with disabilities to assist them to gain and sustain employment or community attachment. Supports available include assistive devices, equipment, and technology; ergonomic supports; restorative supports (such as canes and crutches); American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting and captioning services; communication and hearing devices related to work; workplace access and modification; and vehicle modifications. Services are available to individuals ages 16 and up who have a work-related barrier due to a disability or a functional limitation; this may include barriers related to travelling to and from the workplace. Individuals must be ages 16 and older and legally eligible to work in BC. Facility is fully accessible. Hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Wednesday, 8:30 am to 7:30 pm Thursdays, and 10 am to 3 pm Fridays. Funded by Ministry of Social Development and Poverty Reduction (MSDPR).
