Provides emergency shelter and support to women, with or without children, who are at risk of or have experienced abuse or violence of any kind. Accepts individuals who identify as a woman, Two-Spirit, and non-binary; male children are accepted ages 18 and under. High-barrier house; residents should abstain from substance use while staying in the shelter. Identification is not required to access the house. Accepts pets on case-by-case basis. One room is wheelchair accessible, although women must be able to transfer themselves in and out of a chair in the bathroom. Serves Kamloops and surrounding communities. 24-hour phone service, texts are not monitored overnight. Funded by BC Housing.
