Provides hands-on experience in a real cafe setting learning kitchen skills, and connecting with employers. Training includes one-on-one coaching providing career and life skills training as well as certifications such as First Aid and Super Host. A free, 12-week program with a weekly living allowance provided, as well as a free YMCA membership. Registrants must be a Canadian citizen, have permanent resident status, be a confirmed refugee, or in Canada under CUAET (Canada-Ukraine Authorization for Emergency Travel), and be un- or under-employed.
