Housing program provides safe, stable, and affordable housing for eight women ages 16 to 29 who are parenting a child under the age of five. Women retain their independence while building resilience, skills, and strengths in a community living environment to transition successfully to independent living with their child. Support services for residents include parenting support, advocacy, individual counselling and emotional support, group programming, accompaniment to appointments, resource referrals, and activity groups for children and youth. Offers free drop-ins which include a healthy breakfast, playroom, and parent and child craft project from 10 am to 12 noon Thursdays; open to resident moms and the community. Serves Victoria.
