Youth Empowerment and Family Strengthening Program

Provides one-to-one support for youth (ages 12 to 23) facing multiple barriers, focusing on personal development, long-term goals, and well-being. Helps youth identify growth opportunities, navigate challenges, and connect with community resources using a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach. Support areas include mental health, relationships, life skills, substance use, peer pressure, school concerns, mentorship, and trauma. Also works to improve family relationships by fostering communication, conflict resolution, and connection to support services. Accepts referrals from self or other. Office hours are 9 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Funded in part by the Province of BC.
