Free live-in, substance-free program for youth ages 12 to 18 who are experiencing problematic substance use for whom less intensive community-based approaches have not been effective. Continuum of service involves withdrawal management, stabilization, treatment, and/or aftercare. Length of stay varies; service is tailored to each individual's needs. Accepts individuals on substitution therapy. Accepts self-referrals. Youth Withdrawal Management Referral form and Youth Recovery House Application available on website. Serves the Interior region (East Kootenay, Kootenay Boundary, Okanagan, and Thompson Cariboo Shuswap regions). Licensed as a Community Care Facility. Funded by Interior Health.
