YWCA Eyrie

Second-stage transition house in Vancouver provides safe, affordable housing for mothers with children who have experienced domestic violence/abuse; applicants must be female or female-identifying. Accepts dependents up to age 25, including children who are male, non-binary, or gender-nonconforming. Offers emotional support, court accompaniment, information and referral, and advocacy. Length of stay is one year, with a possibile extension of up to two years. Can accommodate some pets (for example, one dog or one cat). Support staff are on site 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday. Wheelchair accessible. Funded by BC Housing.
