YWCA Munroe House

Second-stage transition house in Vancouver provides safe and affordable housing for mothers with children who have experienced domestic violence/abuse; applicants must be female or female-identifying. Accepts dependents up to age 25, including who are male, non-binary, or gender-nonconforming. Offers emotional support, information and referral, court accompaniment, and advocacy. support staff on site 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday. Length of stay is one year, with a possible extension of up to two years. Can accommodate some pets such as a dog or a cat. Some units are wheelchair accessible. Funded by BC Housing.
