Provides acute care services to assess and treat medical conditions, and stabilize for hospital transfer if required. Provides urgent care due to injury or illness during operating hours (no overnight admittance; will arrange a transfer to a larger centre if needed), diagnostic services, and chronic disease management. Also provides primary health care with a doctor and/or nurse one day a week, available by appointment. Public health and home health services also operate from this location.
