Provides diagnostic assessments for children and youth age 18 and under with suspected autism spectrum disorder; accepts referrals from all physicians. The Provincial Autism Resource Centre (PARC) receives complex, tertiary level referrals via regional service teams. The Complex Developmental Behavioural Conditions (CDBC) Program provides diagnostic assessment services for children and youth age 18 and under who have significant difficulties in multiple areas of function including those with known or suspected history of exposures to substances with neurodevelopmental effects. Referral from pediatricians or child psychiatrists is required (with exceptions based on access). Tertiary Referral Team for CDBC receives complex tertiary level referrals via regional service teams. A service of the Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA).
