Offers a variety of social, educational, and recreational programs for children and youth in South Vancouver Island area. Services include before- and after-school programs, summer camps, outdoor recreation, youth leadership, youth justice programs, parenting programs, and other youth and family services. A yearly non-refundable membership fee of $25 per child or $45 per family is required; subsidy applications are available. Office hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday.

A weekly group for families with babies between eight weeks and one year. Group sessions cover topics such as stages of development, safe infant sleep, introducing solids, and maternal mental health. Participants receive a nutritious frozen meal to take home, as well as snacks, food vouchers, bus tickets, vitamins, information, and other support when needed. Discussions are led by guest speakers including a public health nurse, dietician, dental hygienist, or BGC youth and family counsellor. Groups run from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm and 12:30 pm to 2 pm Tuesdays. Registration is required.

Provides a full-time attendance program (FTAP) that is a community-based alternative to being in custody.

Provides a full-time attendance program (FTAP) that is a community-based alternative to being in custody. Serves male-identifying youth ages 12 and 18 that are court-ordered to attend an FTAP. The goal of the program is to help youth return to their family (when possible) and community and develop prosocial skills and behaviours that will decrease their involvement in the criminal justice system. Also provides a residential treatment program for youth experiencing substance use issues and involvement in the criminal justice system. Participants grow as individuals, learn how resilient they are, receive support and guidance, and renew their connection to community. Program includes education, daily physical and recreational activity, life skills development, individual and group counselling, and employment readiness training. Serves BC.
