Provides programs and services for seniors ages 55 and over, including free information and referral, free Community Volunteer income tax program (CVITP) for low-income seniors, form assistance by appointment, and community education sessions monthly for all seniors (no membership required for community education sessions). Funded as an Active Aging Plus program by United Way BC (UWBC) Healthy Aging Program. Provides emergency hampers to low income seniors who require support. Also offers various recreational activities and social gatherings as well as bus excursions. Membership required for activities and bus trips. Annual membership is $30 per year. Activity fees are generally $6 per instructor led class and $ for volunteer coordinated activities, social activity fees range according to type of activity. Serves Agassiz and Chilliwack. Office hours are Monday to Friday 8am to 3pm, office is closed on Fridays during the summer. Nonprofit society, registered charity.
