  Provides assistance to people with a developmental disability who require regular access to various support services in order to live independently in their own apartment. Individuals rent their apartment within one larger apartment complex. Includes a staffed apartment as a common use area for group social activities and program planning. Support staff provide daily assistance to enhance and develop the life skills of program participants, including goal planning; budgeting and money management skills; grocery shopping, nutrition, and meal planning; home management and safety skills; medical and general health support; access to community resources; interpersonal skills; and social and leisure group activities. Referral accepted from self or other. Participants must be assessed by Community Living BC as having a developmental disability in order to be eligible for support.

  Provides youth ages 13 to 18 living with intellectual disabilities with support in making friends, developing social and life skills, and accessing community resources. Offers up to three days per week of after-school programs from September to June, and up to five weeks of full weeks of day camps during the summer. Eligible youth must be registered with the Supported Child Development Program (SCDP) run through Island Health.
