Assists seniors age 65 and over who are in general good health but require help with non-medical daily tasks to maintain independent living within their homes and remain connected to their communities.
Assists seniors age 65 and over who are in general good health but require help with non-medical daily tasks to maintain independent living within their homes and remain connected to their communities. Services include light housekeeping, grocery shopping/delivery, friendly visits, snow shovelling, minor home repairs, light yard work, and transportation to medical appointments and social/recreational activities. Serves Osoyoos and Oliver; Oliver office is at 762 Fairview Road, but all appointments must be booked through the Osoyoos office. Program hours vary; office hours are 9 am to 4 pm Monday to Thursday. Fees are on a sliding scale based on income. Funded by Ministry of Health (MOH) and managed by United Way BC.

Social meetup happens 10 am to 12 noon Tuesdays; other hours vary. Offered in partnership with United Way BC (UWBC) Healthy Aging Program and funded as a Therapeutic Activation Programs for Seniors (TAPS) by the Government of BC.

Provides free individual and group counselling for children and youth ages three to 18 who have been exposed to family violence.
Helps children and youth to learn about the cycles of family violence and that they are not responsible for it, learn about healthy relationships, express their emotions in healthy ways, recognize their strengths, increase their self-confidence, and develop a safety plan. Also provides individual and group support for the non-offending parent and caregivers. Serves Oliver and Osoyoos; book appointments through Oliver office for Osoyoos. Oliver office hours are 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Thursday; program hours vary. Funded by Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General (MPSSG) as a PEACE (Prevention, Education, Advocacy, Counselling and Empowerment) Program for Children and Youth Experiencing Violence.
