Provides a variety of services to the community, including recreational/social gatherings for seniors, families, children, and youth; advocacy and information and referral for seniors; basic tax preparation assistance; educational workshops for tenants; financial assistance for child and youth recreation; and tutoring services for grades 6 to 12. Emergency Assistance and Advocacy provides grocery store vouchers, limited support with prescription medications, clothing, thrift shop vouchers for household items and furniture, assistance with filling out government paperwork, and referral to community services. The Shower Program provides free access to a shower and towels, toiletries, and hygiene items to local residents on a first come, first served basis; hours are 1:15 pm to 3:15 pm Monday to Thursday. Office hours are 8:30 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 4:30 pm Monday to Friday. Nonprofit society, registered charity.
