Helps move modest-income families from uncertain rental situations into Habitat homes they can afford and call their own. The Homeownership Program gives eligible families a hand up towards their dreams of homeownership and a safe community; families work alongside volunteers and skilled trades people to build their home and purchase it at fair market value, while agency provides affordable financing. Driven primarily by volunteer labour, monetary donations, and donations of construction materials. Serves Greater Victoria. Office hours are 9:30 am to 5:30 pm Monday to Friday. Nonprofit society, registered charity.
