The Kaslo Food Hub offers emergency food services and other food security programs.

The Kaslo Food Hub offers emergency food services and other food security programs. The Food Cupboard provides users with healthy foods, no more than once per week. Hours are 10 am to 1 pm Tuesdays and 5 pm to 7 pm Thursdays in Kaslo, and 11 am to 2 pm Wednesdays at the Lardeau Valley Community Centre. The Community Root Cellar offers rental space for residents to store vegetables for use over the winter. The culinary Tool Library has a selection of culinary aids that are available for community use for a nominal rental fee. The Baby Supplies Cupboard offers diapers to families in need. The Food Resource Library offers food related books and videos for rental at no cost to residents.

Offers weekly or monthly light physical activities for older adults such as walking, bowling, yoga, and singing. Seniors' Drop-in Coffee Time is 9:30 am to 11 am Fridays at the Kaslo Seniors' Hall. Provides access to Lifeline, a personal 24-hour emergency response system that helps older adults, individuals with physical challenges, or individuals at medical risk maintain independence and remain safe in their own home; activation and monthly fees apply. Through the WISE (Weekly Invitation to Seniors and Elders) Program, provides various services to adults ages 55 and over who have mobility challenges, are residents of Kaslo or Area D, and are living on low income and/or experiencing isolation. Services include weekly delivery of a meal combined with an in-person check-in. Also introduces seniors to community resources through speakers on topics of interest, including digital literacy tutors.
