Supports the well-being of children, youth, and families, especially those who are vulnerable, through child protection and family support services. Also offers services regarding guardianship, adoption, child and youth mental health, children and youth with support needs, and youth justice. Other services coordinated through central provincial offices include intake and screening; helplines and after-hours support; resources and referral; funding and benefits programs; and specialized treatment for disabilities, mental health issues, and substance use. Serves South Okanagan communities of Keremeos, Naramata, Okanagan Falls, Oliver, Osoyoos, Penticton, Princeton, and Summerland. Office hours are 9 am to 12 noon and 1 pm to 4 pm Monday to Friday.
