Supports seniors living in Quesnel and surrounding communities. Provides information about services and resources in the community via phone, website, newsletter, and social media. Also provides system advocacy regarding seniors in areas of safety and accessibility, transportation, housing, food security and health, connectivity, respect and inclusion, and social activities. Offers a Meals on Wheels monthly frozen meal delivery; contact office for details. During March and April, offers income tax form completion for low-income seniors; call Sharron to book an appointment (250-474-2132). Office hours are 9:30 am to 3 pm Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
