An inner-city community centre serving adults ages 19 and over who are among Greater Victoria's working poor, impoverished elderly, mentally and physically challenged, substance use disorder, and homeless populations. Breakfast is served at the nutrition bar from 7 am to 8 am daily; lunch is served every day in the dining room from 12 noon to 1 pm; and dinner is served every evening from 5 pm to 6 pm. Nutrition bar is also available in between dining room meal times. Provides education, job skills, free clothing, counselling, outreach services, and advocacy support for people wishing to recover from addictions. Offers a shower facility open from 8 am to 8:15 pm daily. Also offers a safe storage unit in the inner courtyard that can accommodate 70 or more bins plus room for rolling suitcases and some carts. Storage unit is open from 7 am to 10:30 am and 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm daily. Also provides a variety of programs on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, including healthcare, arts programs, a free legal clinic, First Nations healing circles, haircuts, veterinary services, and mental health counselling. Manages temporary housing and shelters for 470 people nightly; see independent listings for details. Drop-in hours are 6:30 am to 9 pm, seven days a week. Provides supportive housing for people who are homeless, at risk of becoming homeless, or are marginally housed, application through BC Housing Supportive Housing Registration Service.
