Offers virtual and in-person one-stop access to information, referrals, and support services for families, child care providers, and community partners. Building on what exists in the community, ensures that families can access a range of support services related to child development, early learning programs, and child care, including drop-in playgroups, parent education workshops, child care professional development opportunities, and networking. Works with early childhood service providers to plan and deliver accessible, responsive, and coordinated services for families with young children. Serves central and northern Vancouver Island, including Campbell River, Gold River, Nanaimo, Port Alberni, Port Hardy, and Qualicum Beach. Main office hours are 11:30 am to 4:30 pm Tuesdays; 8:30 am to 4:30 pm Wednesdays and Fridays; 10 am to 6 pm Thursdays; and 8:30 am to 12:30 pm Saturdays. Funded by Ministry of Education and Child Care (MECC).
