The Pender Islands Health Centre houses a wide range of medical services, allied health professionals, social support services, and wellness practitoners. The Medical Clinic provides primary medical care to registered patients 9 am to 12 noon and 2 pm to 5 pm Monday to Friday, by appointment only; also provides 24-hour, on-call emergency treatment to the broader Pender Island community. Private practitioner services on-site include family counselling, addictions counselling, audiology, chiropractic, dental clinic, massage therapy, and optometry services. Island Health's home support program and palliative care services are also offered from this location, and public health nursing services visit on a regular basis. Hours are 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday. Nonprofit society, registered charity.

Through the Medical Equipment Loan Program, provides walkers, crutches, wheelchairs, bedpans, hospital beds, and other equipment for short- or long-term loan. Maintain Your Independence exercise classes are tailored to maintain flexibility, and build strength and balance, with a focus on fall prevention; funded by participant fees and Capital Regional District. The Monday Activity Day offers recreational and educational activities and gentle exercise classes for seniors ages 55 and older. Low cost hot lunch is served. Pre-registration preferred.

Service includes crisis intervention mental health support, as well as referral to other mental health professionals or community agencies. Sessions are provided by appointment in person at the Health Centre, by phone, or in the client's home if required. Health centre hours are 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday. Offered in partnership with Ministry of Children and Family Services (MCFD).
