  Provides safe, supportive housing for up to five pregnant women and new mothers struggling with mental health and/or problematic substance misuse; accepts cisgender and transgender women.

  Provides safe, supportive housing for up to five pregnant women and new mothers struggling with mental health and/or problematic substance misuse; accepts cisgender and transgender women. Aims to enable women to overcome their trauma and gain life skills so they can parent their own children and transition into their own home. Home is staffed 24 hours a day; staff includes Indigenous support to create a culturally safe environment. Offers support services including counselling, emotional management, and healthy relationship skills development, as well as opportunities to participate in social, parenting, and life skills programs offered in the community. Childminding is offered in the morning so that mothers can attend programs, counselling, or healthcare appointments. Funded in part by Northern Health, by BC Housing Society, and by Vancouver Foundation.

  Provides free individual and group counselling for children and youth ages three to 18 who have been exposed to family violence.

  Provides free individual and group counselling for children and youth ages three to 18 who have been exposed to family violence. Helps children and youth understand their emotions, discuss their trauma, develop a safety plan, recognize their strengths, increase their self-confidence, and understand that they are not responsible for the violence. Also provides individual and group support for the non-offending parent and caregivers. Offers school-based educational activities designed to prevent violence and community awareness presentations on the effects of exposure to abuse. Serves Prince George. Program hours vary. Funded by Minister of Public Safety and Solicitor General (MPSSG).

  Provides supportive recovery beds for up to 14 women (including pregnant women, women with children, and single women) struggling with addiction.

  Provides supportive recovery beds for up to 14 women (including pregnant women, women with children, and single women) struggling with addiction. Services include referral, crisis intervention, individual counselling, and awareness education. Staff are trained in a harm reduction approach and explore issues of self-esteem and anger management. Prevention activities include harm reduction activities, videos, and 16 Steps to Recovery. May accept clients on methadone who are wanting to withdraw from other substances. Child care and transportation to appointments are provided for residents. Women may be working while they are residents. Accepts referral from self or other. Funded by Northern Health.
