  Serves victims and witnesses of all types of crime or trauma, including those injured and bereaved by accused that have not been identified or charged.

  Serves victims and witnesses of all types of crime or trauma, including those injured and bereaved by accused that have not been identified or charged. Provides emotional support, advocacy, court orientation and accompaniment, transportation and accompaniment to related meetings, form completion assistance (including victim impact statements and Crime Victim Assistance Program forms), liaison with justice system personnel, and referrals to community resources. Also provides information about the criminal justice system, court proceedings, case status, and hearing dates. Serves Baynes Lake, Elko, Elkford, Fernie, Galloway, Grasmere, Hosmer, Roosville, and Sparwood. Hours vary; call for details. Funded by Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General (MPSSG).
