Rivercity Inclusion

Provides and facilitates support services to children, youth, and adults with developmental disabilities. Services for children and youth include early intervention, infant development, various therapies, and supported child care. Services for adults include a supported employment program, day programs, semi-independent living program, and leisure and recreation. Offers employment services including vocational planning, job search assistance, supported and customized employment; referral required through Community Living BC (CLBC). Also operates Island Health-funded assisted living facilities; intake is through Home and Community Care, Community Access Line. Serves Campbell River and area, including: Cortez Island, Gold River, Quadra Island, Sayward, and Tahsis. Nonprofit society, registered charity.

Provides opportunities for youth ages 12 to 18 with diverse abilities to participate in various leisure and recreational activities with the goal of developing life skills, and facilitating peer relationships and community integration.

Provides opportunities for youth ages 12 to 18 with diverse abilities to participate in various leisure and recreational activities with the goal of developing life skills, and facilitating peer relationships and community integration. Program is for youth with autism or with severe disabilities and complex health care needs, based on Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD) criteria for autism programs or the At-Home Program. Early Intervention Programs

Offers free services related to early childhood development, including: Infant Development Program for infants from birth to three years of age who have or are at risk for developmental delay; Physical and Occupational Therapies (birth to school entry age) for children who have limitations in mobility or gross motor skills; and Speech and Language Program (birth to school entry) for children with developmental needs in communication and/or feeding.
